Sashiko FQ Bundle
Sashiko is a form of decorative reinforcement stitching, or functional embroidery, from Japan that began due to a practical need to reinforce or repair clothing during the Edo era (1615-1868). Using a running stitch, white cotton thread and indigo blue cloth gives Sashiko a distinctive appearance. The designs are usually geometric, featuring motifs such as waves, mountains, bamboo, diamonds, hexagons and persimmon flowers.
Windham Fabrics has curated a beautiful collection of Sashiko-inspired fabrics. The collection features 18 designs in this FQ Bundle. Perfect for purses, clothing and quilting.
