Ready for a fun, incredibly satisfying project? Join Joan Radell, affectionately known as “The Sneaker Lady,” for a three-day workshop where you’ll construct a quilted coat from the ground up. You’ll need about 60-65 quilt blocks, about 8-9” square.

 
Sewing machine in good order required. 

Whether you love a scrappy look or a well-planned classic style, this simple, fun, 3-season Quilted Coat will elevate your wardrobe. Made of quilt-weight cotton throughout, this project will use your quilting skills in a fun new way, and it's easy to customize it to fit your needs.

October 17, 18, and 19, join us for a Quilted Coat workshop at @halfmoonhandwerks in Camp Hill, PA, just outside of Harrisburg. There are a couple of seats available. Friday the 17th is a pre-class prep and fitting day, so don't fret if a Friday class doesn't work with your busy schedule! Contact the shop for details--we hope you can join us! Experience level is Confident Beginner-Intermediate, and you don't need garment making experience, even for results like this.

As there will be no opportunity for specifically fitting the jacket to your needs, we are in conversation with someone who will provide alterations to the pattern, prior to the class. Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of that service.
