Exploring Color: A Color Theory Adventure
 
Go beyond the color wheel to understand and work with color. Handouts, color exercises to take home and play with, Color Palettes in Quilts & Fiber Art to inspire…and more!

You'll receive Color Wheels, Handouts, Mock Blocks, and fabrics to play with using pattern and textures as well as creating your own color palette from nature or a photograph to make a block, explore landscapes and other unique opportunities to use color in your quilting and fiber art. 
 

Unit One - The Value of Value   Over 3 weeks, we will explore value, the foundation for choosing colors in all your creative endeavors.

Unit Two - Fabric Selection  We'll spend 2 weeks on choosing fabrics - coordinating, complementary, bold and daring, subtle or neutral, etc. 

Unit Three - Exploring Colors    We'll spend several weeks in the Spring exploring colors and how they relate to our lives and our hobbies, ending with a quilt challenge.
