Introduction to Wool Applique

Wool Applique is a great portable technique, there are no charts to follow, and it uses two main stitches - blanket stitch and whip stitch. For the VERY Beginner, this technique workshop will focus on skill building so you can take any Wool Applique pattern and feel confident making it. NOTE: We will NOT be making a specific project. Photos are representative of Wool Applique by Crane Designs. 

Learn the how-tos of Wool Applique, practice the two stitches typically used, and turn inner & outer corners. Experiment with various threads to create interest and depth. You'll be able to choose any pattern...or design your own...successfully. We'll also discuss the differences between wool felt and felted wool, and when to use them.

$45, includes all materials and tools needed. Students should bring a small pair of sharp scissors...serrated edge, preferred.  Students receive a 10% discount on all class purchases.
